He focuses on architecture, design, operations, troubleshooting, optimization, automation, and support. He also works on Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing, network and system design, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, posture assessment, policy development, and threat detection and prevention.

Position: Advisory Systems Engineer, Dell Technologies

Background: John has worked in IT for over 35 years. After retiring from the military with 20 years of service working with several technologies, to include software and hardware, John went to work for Dell Technologies. He is currently an Advisory Systems Engineer who works with Zones to aid Customers in finding the proper solutions for their business needs, outcomes, and architectures. John's current expertise is in the Datacenter from the Edge to the Core to the Cloud, including software and hardware. He is on his 19th year at Dell Technologies and looks forward to many more to come, as technology continues to change at a record pace.
